About me
I am a Neurophysiology specialist , a trauma informed yoga teacher and a wellbeing somatic coach. I have been walking the path of yoga and inner exploration for over 20 years.
I currently live with my family in Marin County CA, where I am grateful to be surrounded by beautiful nature and community.
Over years of practice, study, and work with individuals and groups, I’ve developed a method that weaves together sensory-guided movement and breathwork with somatic coaching, reflective writing, and contemplative inquiry, including elements of shadow work.
In this practice, the awareness state cultivated through the body practice becomes a doorway to insight—helping you listen more closely inward, understand patterns with compassion, and recognize what feels true and aligned.
Over time, this capacity for attunement becomes a steady inner resource—guiding choices, relationships, and life transitions with greater clarity and confidence.
I offer this work as an invitation to slow down, turn inward, and engage in an ongoing process of self-discovery—where body and mind meet in a way that is both practical and deeply transformative.
My Story
When I was in my late 20s I remember that feelings were not very accessible. My inner experience meant mostly thinking , and feeling was a vague concept. When sad things happened, I often found it difficult to feel the sadness or cry. This changed as I was going through an intensive 800 hr. Vijnana Yoga teacher training. Somehow, through this beautiful body and mind practice, guided by sensory awareness I gradually regained access to the realm of feelings and emotions within.
For me this was only the beginning of a beautiful journey of exploration and discovery of the wonders of our mind-body and spirit. A journey that is ongoing to this day that has allows for true transformation, healing and growth. The discoveries that I experienced sparked the curiosity that then led me to pursue a PhD in Neurophysiology and continue to postdoctoral research at Stanford University school of Medicine, focusing on neuroplasticity and mental health. This journey also led me to explore powerful contemplative and shadow work practices that have been no less than revolutionary in my own life.
For the past two decades alongside my scientific work I have been working with groups and individuals offering access to the teachings, practices and insights that I have gathered and received, and that have been so incredibly powerful in my life.
